KAUAI Maerua Mall — Restaurant in Khomas

Very bad experience. Staff are unfriendly (two ladies named Natalia and Miriam).

I ordered the sliced avo toast and sent it back because the avo was unripe and rubbery. The lady behind the counter had a bad attitude and refused to refund me. I asked what is the procedure for when a customer is unhappy with an order, she said she will not refund me, I should order something else. I looked at the menu searching for something of the same price. I ordered the Mexi Egg Pot. The other lady then proceded to tell me that I will not get an egg because I had already eaten half of the avo toast (I had eaten two or three bites, thinking that it might only be the first slice of avo that was unripe).

After asking to speak to the manager, the lady agreed to make the Mexi Egg Pot for me and told me to wait because there are many orders before mine will be made. I said that's fine, I'll wait. I went downstairs to Checkers to save some time since I was by now already running late. My husband who was also in the gym went to pick up my order, and upon arrival, the ladies said that they did not make my order because I left the gym. He told them no, I went to Checkers to save time, please make the order. I went back and was told I cannot get the Mexi Egg Pot because there are not enough beans. I said that's fine, I'll take something else, and sat down. I eventually received the order. The food was average.

Wife Got a raw Avo toast. Took 2 bites and realised it was un eatable. Politly asked to get her money back. They refused rudely. She asked them what she should do then because it is unacceptable. They said she can order a mexi egg pot but without an egg because she took 2 bites. Perthetic service. Unwillingnes to help....

The only Kauai location in Namibia so far. It's inside the Virgin Active, you can enter without a membership, just ask the guys at the reception to let you through. Food is amazing, same quality as in south Africa, also the same menu. You can get for take away and they also...
