Service was excellent and the waiter was very friendly and helpful!! The vibes were nice. The food however wasn't the same taste as the Panarottis in SA. It wasn't bad but it definitely wasn't excellent. The lasagne was a very little portion for the price paid. It wasn't even the whole lasagne bowl full, just the centre. The sauce was very watery and overall needed salt. The pizza was good, however I didn't enjoy the taste of the bacon. Maybe it was just a strange brand of bacon used?The complimentary garlic wasn't extremely fresh, as fresh garlic has a strong sharp taste to it (and I'm very sensitive to strong tastes and usually use very little garlic). This however was a bit dull and didn't have a lot of flavour... There is room for improvement regarding food if you are looking for flavour. While our pizzas were excellent and the service of the trainee waiter was friendly, there were a couple of things that really ticked me off. The starter, a flat bread, arrived with the main course and was disappointingly spiced with the faintest sprinkling of some unidentifiable sprinkles that were supposed to be herbs. The draught beer was ridiculously priced at almost 50 bucks and served in a mug that was not anywhere filled near the 500ml mark. What a horrible experience. Our reservation was incorrect (most likely forgotten although done 3 days in advance). Waiters were eating pie take aways from somewhere else just outside Panarottis. 10 waffles and 3 plates of chips took 55minutes to START coming out. Waiters were slow to respond to any request. Only after I threatened to go get take aways from a franchise downstairs did they start bringing the orders. Horrible. Why should...
