The Stellenbosch Tasting Room — Restaurant in Khomas

Our experience at the Stellenbosch Tasting Restaurant was extremely disappointing. As Black customers, we felt unwelcome and dismissed from the moment we asked for assistance. The manager (Denzel) showed no interest in helping us and made us feel like we didn’t belong. It was a deeply uncomfortable and disheartening experience.

In stark contrast, the staff at Donkiesbaai right next door treated us with kindness, professionalism, and respect, even though we weren’t dining there. That kind of basic courtesy should not be exceptional.

No one should be made to feel lesser because of their race. I sincerely hope the management at Stellenbosch Tasting reflects on this and takes steps to treat all guests with the dignity and respect...

This beautiful restaurant is located in Klein Windhoek in a cosy patio. We had dinner and breakfast twice, respectively, and it was always fantastic. The atmosphere was great as well as the staff. They serve traditional Namibian food and Italian inspired dishes. The steak was always perfectly cooked, the salads and veggies fresh and crisp.
