Palifal Restaurant — Restaurant in Kirtipur Municipality

Very disappointing experience. We went for a family dinner with 11 people, but they refused to place even 11 glasses on the table saying, “if we put 11 glasses, the table will be full.” They only gave us 5 glasses for 11 people, which made no sense.

We placed our order around 7:50 PM, and the food was served at 9:30 PM, after more than 1 hour and 45 minutes of waiting.

The mutton was undercooked, and when we pointed it out, the staff casually responded, “Hami kaha yestai huncha” — as if serving raw meat is normal.

After that, we ordered chicken, but it came without salt, and when we requested salt, the waiter’s behavior was slightly rude and dismissive.

The Chinese chopsey was completely dry and lacked gravy, and the sizzler, which we ordered at 8:00 PM, still hadn’t arrived even by 10:00 PM.

I had chosen this place because I’ve organized several programs here before, but this visit was extremely disappointing.

Not recommended at all. Poor service, slow kitchen, and careless attitude...

Palifal Bistro will always stay close to my heart 💖. I worked here as a waiter, and every day felt like being part of one big family. The atmosphere (5/5) is so peaceful, the taste (5/5) is just wow 😋, and the service is always 200% with love and care.

I’ve recently left Palifal, but my heart is still there. Truly thankful to Palifal owner and the whole Palifal family for giving me such beautiful memories. I really miss Ma and the entire Palifal family — those days were full of laughter, teamwork, and happiness. 💕
