Botanist — Restaurant in Lalitpur Metropolitan City

Went here for the first (and last) time on my friend's birthday. We entered nearing their closing time (we were unaware that they were about to close) and they greeted us in. As soon as we received our drinks, they asked us whether we want to order more drinks as their bar is closing (literally right after they gave us our drinks). We told them we would like to finish our drinks first, and as we did that they started turning off the lights and rudely told us not to laugh (we were having a conversation amongst ourselves and laughing/talking). We sat there in the dark as we tried to quickly gulp down our drinks and rush out. If they were about to close, they should have informed us as we entered and we would have simply apologized and left. However, they were too greedy, took our orders and expected us to gulp it down in silence and scram. Worst...

Dear Owners,

Please hire a manager because although the bar team were excellent in preparing cocktails and other drinks, the place looked like bit run down. Cushion covers needs a wash , curtains all looked frail . Sofas ( around the deck area) and furniture were full of dust. Ladies toilet area needed a good clean up too.

Bar team were hardworking and friendly and my mocktail was made out of fresh fruits and herbs. They all looked like well trained professionals.

Lovely ambiance, bougainvillea stretching over the bar roof adds so much beauty to the place. Luscious green palms all around.

However, a lack of a manager to deal with service, daily maintenance, customers appears to slowly ruin the vibe of this...

Quiet place with great ambience. The service was really slow and the staffs aren’t really hospitable. They didn’t come to take the order for almost 30 min. The nachos wasn’t really appetizing, the kiwi drink was refreshing but was too sour, talking about their carbonara and mustang aaloo it’s worth the try. The carbonara was really creamy and had good portion , the mustang aaloo was perfectly cooked with adequate spices. You can go to this place if you have enough money to spend ,want to work or hangout with friends in a peaceful environment. This place is good for dates too.
