I was really excited to try this place, especially since I was so hungry, but it ended up being a huge disappointment. While the staff were polite and well-mannered, the service left a lot to be desired. A basic courtesy like serving water when seating customers was overlooked—it only came right before our food arrived. To make matters worse, I ended up with a tummy ache and diarrhea after the meal, which was a terrible experience.
Here’s what I tried:
Crunchy Cheesecake Shake: There was no hint of cheesecake at all—it was just a basic vanilla shake. Giving it a 5/10 only because it was drinkable. Berry Virgin Mojito: It was fine but nothing spectacular. Lasagna: Easily the worst dish of the night. It didn’t resemble lasagna at all—the noodles had completely disintegrated, and it was just a mushy mess of sauce and cheese. -Pizza: Overhyped and underwhelming. While the base was decent, the sauce and toppings lacked flavor. For a pizza priced over 1000+ NPR, I expected something better—not just a few skimpy toppings that felt like decoration. -Nachos: These were okay, but the artificial flavor of the sauce was off-putting.
I wanted to try dessert, but after all the disappointment, I couldn’t bring myself to order any.
Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this place. It was expensive, and the food didn’t live up to the hype. Definitely not worth the tummy...

Read moreI recently visited Roadhouse Pulchowk, hoping for a delightful dining experience, but unfortunately, the food left much to be desired. We ordered the mushroom pizza, expecting a burst of flavors and quality ingredients, but the dish was quite disappointing. The pizza lacked the robust, savory taste we were hoping for, with the mushrooms seeming bland and the overall flavor profile falling flat. The crust was underwhelming, neither crispy nor soft enough to leave a lasting impression.
On a brighter note, the ambiance was pleasant, offering a cozy and well-decorated space perfect for a casual outing. The seating was comfortable, and the lighting created a warm, inviting atmosphere. Roadhouse also provides paid parking, which is convenient in a busy area like Pulchowk.
What truly stood out, however, was the exceptional service. The staff was attentive, friendly, and professional, ensuring that we felt well taken care of throughout our visit. Despite the shortcomings in the food, their behavior was top-notch, making the experience more enjoyable than it otherwise would have been. In conclusion, while Roadhouse Pulchowk excels in ambiance and customer service, the food, specifically the mushroom pizza, could use significant...
