Haopin is hands down one of the best Chinese restaurants in town, offering an authentic dining experience with a unique twist. The ambience is warm and inviting, with a well-designed interior that includes a bar and tables embedded with induction cooktops. These allow diners to warm and cook their food at the table, adding an interactive element to the meal that’s fun and engaging.
We ordered the hotpot, which was more than enough for a group of 5-6 people. The hotpot came with a generous variety of items, including two types of meat, mushrooms, tofu, and an assortment of fresh vegetables. The broth was rich and flavorful, complemented perfectly by the restaurant’s well-made sauces. In addition to hotpot, Haopin also offers a range of beverages, including a variety of coffee options and freshly made juices.
One of the standout dishes we tried was the bun dumplings, which come in chicken or buff. These dumplings are truly unique to Haopin, making them a must-try for any visitor. We also had the Taiwanese soup noodles, which were far superior to typical instant ramen, with fresh ingredients and a more authentic taste.
Pricing at Haopin is reasonable — neither too expensive nor too cheap, which makes it a great choice for high-quality Chinese cuisine without...

Came here for a Hotpot but not satisfied.
Service is too slow, we needed to call waiter 3-4 times just to get warm water and 2 bottles of water. Unresponsiveness made us feel low at the very first minutes. We literally played 3 elongated games of Mafia that too after having appetizers.
Hot pot food is less in quantity and taste than other hotpot places. Even the soup of instant noodles is better.
Too much black pepper in foods. I was left burping black pepper even in the morning.
Other foods were fairly good - strictly talking about appitizers. But the portion, oh my goodness, we would get more inside a packet of lays - which is mostly air in itself.
The table for 10 was barely a table for 8. We had to squeeze quite uncomfortably. This to after we made an early enquiry. If they had told us that space wasn't available, we would've opted for a better place. And now i hope this happened.
After the failed dinner, we went to another nearby restaurant for a...
