The quality of the food was satisfactory; however, the service and ambiance fell short of the expectations one would have from a renowned establishment. Regrettably, a significant portion of the menu items were unavailable during our visit. While we were dining, an unexpected power outage occurred, yet disappointingly, no staff member extended an offer to provide alternative lighting. Despite being the sole patrons present that evening, we found ourselves sitting in darkness for over 15 minutes, relying on our mobile phone lights. To compound matters, a cat entered the dark dining area and proceeded to disturb a bin containing leftover food, spilling and consuming it right under the table. Following this unfortunate incident, we decided to conclude our evening.
Upon inquiring about the situation, the staff acknowledged the presence of the cat but had taken no action to address the matter. Furthermore, when questioned about the lighting issue, their response was a nonchalant shrug of the shoulders.
Reflecting on the experience, it is evident that we should have noted the lack of patrons and exercised discretion in choosing the establishment. The subpar service and evident lack of concern for customer well-being and safety raise concerns about the standards maintained within the kitchen area.
Given the disappointing overall encounter, I have resolved not to visit this establishment...
Read moreWorst Dining Experience - Poor Hygiene and Service
If you’re considering visiting this Chinese restaurant, think again. Our experience here was beyond disappointing, starting with the poor hygiene and customer service. We wanted to try their hotpot, only to be told that a minimum of five portions was required, which seemed excessive for just two people. Despite our concerns, they insisted it was mandatory.
We went ahead and ordered, but it only got worse. The hotpot was extremely greasy, oily, and tasted unhealthy. To top it off, we found a hair strand in the pot. When we pointed this out to the staff, but showing no genuine care about the issue. We were already put off by the level of grease and unhealthiness in the dish, so we declined the replacement and decided to leave the food untouched.
When the bill arrived, we were shocked to find that they made no effort to adjust or compensate for the experience. It was as if they were indifferent to the fact that we were deeply dissatisfied. This was, without a doubt, the worst dining experience I’ve ever had. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone looking for quality food or respectful service. Avoid it if you value a clean and...
Read moreThe food here was delicious! Although the wait time was a bit long due to the size of our order, it was worth it. We enjoyed quite a few different dishes: Vegetarian: Fried rice, cucumber salad, mushroom tempura, Szechuan eggplant, and string beans. Non-Vegetarian: Chicken with chili, pork, and cold buff.
I was worried some of the dishes might taste similar because they had similar aroma, but to my delight, each one had its own distinct flavor! I recommend Szechuan eggplant(is oily), and cold buff!
The staff were attentive, friendly, and always available — I don’t recall having to ask for anything. During a conversation with my friend, I mentioned how cold the day was, and one of the staff brought over a heater. The atmosphere was pleasant and welcoming. I also loved that you could request your own song/playlist, as long as it’s appropriate — such a fun and personal touch.
Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience with great food, thoughtful service, and a cozy ambiance. I plan to try their...
