Don't Pass me By — Restaurant in Pokhara

We should have better passed by that one. The view is nice and the best of this place. You can sit directly at the lake. The service guy was yawning when we asked him a question while ordering and the food took 1hr to arrive. And it wasnt even special food we ordered. The rice of the Dal Bhat was watery and overcooked, the popatoes of the potatosalad were overcooked and mashy. No clue what they spent the 1h for but it was definitely not to increase the quality of the food. Probably...

We have been to Nepal 5 times and have had some wonderful meals in this restaurant. It is good value the staff are friendly and it has a great garden overlooking the lake. The soups are great and hand cut chips delicious. The roast chicken has a lovely delicate flavour and the roast veg is cooked just right. They have a great combination of nepali and western dishes and do a great veg curry and dahl baht. We will keep on coming its the best value...

Came for dinner after a long hike, 2 of us had the veg biryani and one had paneer curry. Was all delicious, service was excellent and friendly. We sat by the lake, but it was dark so couldn't appreciate the view. Standout were the fresh juices, completely fresh mango and pineapple juice, not the Rubicon mango that's served in lakeside.
