Bagar Restaurant and Bar — Restaurant in Ratnanagar

I have been going to Bagar every time I go to Sauraha. However, the last time I was there, was horrible. I ordered few different dishes out of which Chicken curry was extremely salty. I told the waiter about how it tasted salty but got no response. So I asked him to add a saltless curry to neutralize it or add some hot water. He took it to the kitchen and brought it back and looked like they added hot water, but still was extremely salty. When I say salty it was still inedible. I told him again, still no response. I was disappointed and had already paid, so I told him to pack it planning to take it to my hotel room, and add water by myself. Now to another disappointment they literally packed the curry in the aluminium foil with nothing holding the liquid. I am not sure, but I believe they threw some of the curry away to avoid the spill without letting me know. And way the packed Naan.... just look at...

Regardless of the view being good, the service was very slow and horrible. A few of the items that we ordered never came. We kept on asking for those items and they said ok but it never showed up. And the food that came waw very very dissapointing. After waiting for over an hour for the meat skewers, they came and they were really dry and tough like rubber. We spent less money on twice the amount of food on lunch on the same day in a way standard location. There are far better options right outside that location and they are good in quality and cheap. The restaurant is rubbish, the service is pathetic. It's slightly better for drunk customers because they prioritize them, but for other customers, they don't even provide a glass for drinking water. They have cottages, but there are colonies of cockroaches and Chhipkali in roof. When you order something, the waiter says it'll be ready in 10 minutes, but after 45/50 minutes, they come and say that the item won't be available.
