"A Delightful New Addition to Amersfoort's City Center"

We recently visited Bacio, the newly opened pasta bar located in the heart of Amersfoort, for a relaxed lunch and we’re happy to say it’s a fantastic addition to the city’s culinary scene.

Having been regulars at the former Café Vyssotski, we were initially a bit nostalgic about its closure. However, Bacio has completely won us over. The space feels fresh and inviting, and the warmth of the staff made us feel right at home.

We started with the Focaccia Burrata, which was an absolute highlight, perfectly baked focaccia paired with creamy, flavorful burrata. It was a simple dish done exceptionally well.

Although we didn’t try the pasta this time, we’re already planning to return for dinner soon to explore the rest of the menu. If the quality of the lunch is anything to go by, we’re in for a treat.

Let me start with the best: service. Very nice personnel and super fast service. Atmosphere is decent as there is enough space for tables, clean and noise in well controlled to have a normal conversation. The tough part: food. I had a melanzane alla parmigiana and some pasta with tomato sauce. The melanzana was half an eggplant swimming in a tomato sauce with chunks of cheese. Almost tasteless. The pasta was well cooked but the sauce was terrible. And the idea to throw a buffala on top is just bad. So the food fills the stomach but has nothing Italian in terms of taste. Dessert was a decent affogato. How difficult can vanilla ice cream and espresso be? If the ice cream is cheap, pretty tough, so average dessert. Zeer goede prijs / kwaliteit! Het is een relatief nieuw restaurant in Amersfoort.

Bediening is top en de gerechten hebben een zeer goede prijs / kwaliteit.

“Eerder deelde ik al foto’s van deze plek die door veel bezoekers zijn bekeken — daarom voeg ik een actuele foto toe zodat anderen een goed beeld krijgen.”

Er zijn gerechten tussen de 14 en 20 euro. Niet echt grote porties, ging wel met honger naar huis.

Maar de kwaliteit is echt top! Vlotte bediening, zeer snel je eten, had van mij wel iets langzamer gemogen.

Reserveren telefonisch is niet nog mogelijk omdat ze geen telefoon nummer op hun site en of Google profiel communiceren.

Maar ik heb via Instagram mobiele nummer eigenaar gevonden👍

En hij nam hartelijk op en zei dat reserveren op zo korte termijn niet mogelijk was maar dat je gewoon kon binnenlopen.

Ze hebben nog geen vaste lijn omdat ze nieuw zijn. Maar eigenaar vond totaal niet erg dat ik hem op zijn mobiel belde!

Men gaf het nog niet te druk wilde hebben om de kwaliteit te kunnen garanderen. Omdat ze nog maar net open waren.

Je kunt wel beperkt via reservering systeem op hun site een dag van te voren reserveren.

Ze hebben echte Italiaanse klassiekers en hebben oog voor detail / beleving, kwaliteit en service.

Ze serveren bijvoorbeeld de tiramisu aan tafel en ook de risotto krijgt een finishing Touch aan tafel.

Leuk om te zien geeft een extra beleving en slim om te doen!
