Yes, another rare authentic Indonesian restaurant in NL! There are so many Indonesian restaurants in NL, but not many that really taste authentic... especially from East Java region. Their bakso (meatball soup) tastes really like what you can get in Indonesia. Even though it is listed as lunch menu, you can order it for dinner too. Important note: please reserve your table before going to the restaurant, at least one day in advance! The restaurant has very limited seating, less than 20 seats are available (2 x 4 seats, 2 x 2 seats, and 3 high table seats) so there is no guarantee to secure a table if you just walk in. The staff were all nice and accommodating, they even helped me keep my forgotten item that I left at the restaurant. The price is rather expensive for such a small restaurant, but I am willingly to pay it for the quality and taste that I get. Also super important note: it is halal....
Read moreHands down the best Indonesian meatballs and satay you can find in the Netherlands thus far! the meatball dish was very tasty, you can clearly taste the broth was made authentically with bones, not artificial flavoring, the meatballs were meaty and not too chewy and finally, you get bits and pieces of fatty innards which is really scarce to see in other Indonesian restos. The satay was also generously big, juicy and had a smoky taste that you would expect from satay vendors back home.

We ordered Bakso Blambangan (Meatball soup with Pangsit), Ice Cendol (you have to request because it's not on the menu 😅), and nasi goreng
Bakso was SO NICE! even more the Es Cendol. Indonesian approved! Bakso was served with yellow noodles, meehoon, and tofu filled with meatball. Pangsit were so crunchy (reminding me of those pangsit goreng from famous Indo Resto 😁)
