The Streetfood Bar — Restaurant in Amersfoort

Went here today together with my GF who grew up in Thailand. She got blown away with just how prefect the food tasted. Even has the option to go for a real Thai level spicy which I so far have never experienced. Its always a bit toned down to fit with Dutch level spicy. Which this restaurant has the option to as well. But to have the choice to go fully authentic is amazing. Next to the spice level the flavour was also absolutely amazing My girlfriend and I adored every bite and the evening after making us crave going back to have more. On top of that the owners of the restaurant were insanely kind and loved chatting with us about Thailand and even let us try some even spicier dishes to see if we can handle extreme spicy (we couldn't 🤣) Ended up getting a extra water because of it. The food tastes amazing!! The first bite immediately brings me back home to Asia.

We ordered the 3 mix (Red Curry Beef (bottom), Green Curry Chicken (top), Massaman Curry Beef (middle)) with rice (€18.95), beef tom yum with rice (€11.95), shrimp loempia (€7.90), thai bubble milk tea (€3.5). My personal favorites are those curry. They are very rich in flavor and not too spicy, so you can still taste the spices and seasoning used. Even though I finished all the rice, I was sipping the sauce haha. The beef and chicken in those curry are very tender and juicy as well, which is why they are my personal favorites of the entire meal.

I absolutely loved this little gem of a place in Amersfoort! I saw that they had vegan options and was hungry. I left full, like I left my grandma's house for dinner. I really felt like I was eating at home because the owners are SO nice! I spoke with a mother and son who own the place. They are also Thai so you know you're getting the real thing!!!! 10/10 recommend this place, even if you're not in the area, come! It's worth the visit! Oh, also, you can choose your spice level!!!
