Disappointing and boring standard Dutch Chinese restaurant. The chef won a prize as world champion in Chinese cooking, but I am sure none of the dishes in the restaurant were part of his winning menu. The food has somewhere an origin in the Cantonese kitchen. It is not better than most other Chinese restaurants in the Netherlands. Both the food and the way it is presented on the table is Dutch style. For example giving chopsticks and non sticky rice on a flat plate... The only original Chinese is the bad service. I asked for tea and after some discussion I understood I had to choose between tea and Chinese tea. Best dish was the coffee, very elegant presented and of real good taste. The toilet was not very clean and flushing was not really possible. The price was a little much, most local style Chinese restaurants will deliver the same quality with a smile and for less money. While paying the waitress also was clearly fishing for a tip, so I left quite disappointed. If you are here, there are very nice good quality Asian restaurants in the same complex, I don't...

I visited this restaurant together with my school group from Germany, and although I wasn’t hungry and didn’t try the food, I was truly impressed by the kindness and warm attitude of the owner. When we came, I politely asked if I could film a short clip for a vlog, without disturbing anyone. She said yes without any problems - but just for personal use and for a few secundes. While my teacher initially said filming wasn’t allowed there and told me to turn it off, the owner once again let me know that it was her restaurant and in her restaurant I may film myself all the time if I want. Her friendly and welcoming approach with a smile made a great impression on me.

The outdoor terrace is also a lovely place to sit and relax, with a calming view of the nearby river and nature behind – perfect for relaxing at the end of the day.

Highly recommend for the peaceful and friendly atmosphere to relax and have a dinner or...

The place is nice. The service was not very good: one of us was missing the cutlery and we really had to ask for it because the food was almost arriving; they brought the appetizers before bringing the plates for it (a couple of things likes this, and the place was not very busy). I ate the roasted duck, it comes with 2 souces (I didn't like any of them) and rice/noodles. The duck flavour was very Simple, it seems to miss something, and the noodles were dry. Another friend ate tipan duck, and it was better, my friend liked it. Another friend got "fake" duck and...

Formality over rules flavor. This makes the dishes taste not even close to authentic Chinese. Peking duck is served with Hoi Sen sauce and sweet chill sauce. Plus this duck has been frozen forever before being cooked. Chicken stir fry with veggie is less good compared to a normal Dutch-Chinese restaurant. Meat is not evenly cut and pretty much tasteless. One more to add is the chili oil on table, it is horrible. Any brand from an Asian market is better than this. Plus points: nice warm towel after sitting and good service.
