SUNDAY Amstelveen — Restaurant in Amstelveen

The food was rather mediocre and the service also needs more work. The young waiting staff were very friendly but not very competent unfortunately. We asked for alcohol free beer but got normal IPA, then when we asked if it’s definitely alcohol free the waitress said she’ll double check and then she never got back to us and left home.. when we asked another waiter again it turned out to be normal beer. we also needed to ask for napkins and cutlery cause we didn’t get those with our food. Finally, we were there with our baby for an early 5pm dinner and still felt somewhat unwelcome with a small child. I even overheard the manager or so commenting to the waitress about our baby. I don’t think I’ll be going back there...

We had a booking for 20 (adults and children) for my husband's birthday. We were looked after well: space was reserved and the view was lovely over the water; they checked in with us for drinks and food but never in a pushy or intrusive way; the waiting staff were friendly and helpful. Only feedback was that they did not respond to an email or booking query - I went in, in person, to check everything was OK. The food was DELICIOUS! I told the chef twice! Even me spilling my drink all over my lap couldn’t ruin the experience.

All the food was so delicious! I feel like even if I’d pick something I usually don’t like, it would still be absolutely delicious. Great chef!

Amazing food, great location and atmosphere. They were so patient with me and my kids, very helpful! Will definitely come back!
