Review of Restaurant BAUT – VIP Dinner at Eros Ramazzotti Sinfonica & Rosso (17 October 2025)
We had high expectations for this evening. The VIP package, including dinner at BAUT, cost over €300 per person — around €650 in total with concert tickets included. That price suggests fine dining, professional service, and attention to detail. Sadly, what we experienced was the complete opposite.
Our table was served by a young woman of Asian descent with long black hair, who didn’t even know what kind of wine she was pouring. That alone is unacceptable in a restaurant at this price level. Her attitude was blunt and impolite — constantly pushing, “Do you want more wine or not?” — without a smile, without explanation, without grace. Everything was dropped on the table with no description, no care.
My father asked for water and was simply ignored. The other staff members were friendly and professional, but this particular waitress was completely out of place in a fine-dining setting. She ruined the atmosphere at our table entirely.
The food was equally disappointing: a tough, chewy entrecote with burnt fries and a bland celeriac puree. Only the dessert was worth mentioning. The so-called afterparty snacks were even worse — cheap tomato bites served in plastic cups that looked straight out of a discount supermarket.
As a former restaurant owner myself, I know what good service looks like. This was the opposite. BAUT charges Michelin-level prices but delivers fast-food service.

Read morePraktisch dichtbij het Ziggo Dome. Vriendelijk personeel en alles loopt vloeiend. Ivm voorstelling Gabbers 1 menu. Zoon heeft dit geprobeerd, ik kreeg een vegetarisch aanbod. Kwalitatief goed eten, mooie opmaak. De smaak wel erg specifiek (bv risotto obv artisjokken, niet een groente die veel mensen favoriet vinden). Dessert was erg zoet. Je moet er maar van houden. Porties voor ons oke, maar voor mensen met gemiddelde of grotere eetlust echt te klein. Bij slechts 1 aangeboden menu, zou ik voor iets toegankelijker producten kiezen.
