We enjoyed a light lunch in Booven after a visit to the Cruyff Arena. The funny green building on stilts in the middle of the mall that offers all sorts of different sandwiches, paninis, coffees, juices and sweet treats. We seemed to get in right before the rush and were served by a young lady who asked very politely if she could serve us in English as she was learning. As English people we were happy to oblige 😂 she was very sweet and seemed very happy when she realised we were actually from England! The young lady was very attentive and friendly and later we were served by an older gentleman who too was very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed a Goats cheese, honey and pine nut panini and my husband a Chicken and Bacon club. We both had coffees (good coffee!) and two of the nicest smoothies - strawberry and yogurt and strawberry and mango with orange. We were very pleased that we happened upon Booven! Little cosy cafe on stilts!

Daardoor had ik een ander drankje besteld. Dus er is geen oplossing geboden door het personeel. Maar dat betekent niet dat het personeel daardoor onvriendelijk is. Zij doen ook gewoon hun werk en dat is het beleid waarmee zij moeten werken. Maar aangezien mijn review daardoor verwarring heeft opgeleverd pas ik het aan. Ik heb niet achter de bar gekeken of onderzocht hoe de bereiding plaatsvind. Dat is niet mijn taak als klant. Ik ben al meer dan 20 jaar bekend in de omgeving, dus kan een redelijke prijsvergelijking maken in deze buurt. Op 5 minuten afstand kun je nl. een muntthee kopen voor ongeveer dezelfde prijs met de dubbele hoeveelheid. Dus vind ik de drankjes hier prijzig. Voor 2 personen hebben wij bijna €30 betaald, dus voor een broodje en een drankje. Verder was het broodje en de wrap goed gevuld en redelijk qua prijs als je kijkt naar de hoeveelheid. Wij hadden samen gedeeld, ik vond het broodje een beetje een flauwe smaak hebben, maar de wrap was uitstekend qua smaak. De smoothie is geen aanrader! Ik had gekozen voor de mango sinaasappel, dit was naar mijn mening gewoon een glas jus uit een pakje en geen smoothie. De mango smaak was niet aanwezig en de jus proefde niet vers. Dit heb ik aangeven aan het personeel, maar daar konden ze dus niets aan doen. Wij hadden in totaal 3 drankjes inclusief een muntthee. Dit werd geserveerd in een klein kopje. Dus ik vind dat de drankjes vrij prijzig zijn als je naar de hoeveelheid kijkt. Dus een volgende keer ga ik inderdaad ergens anders naar toe.

We were searching for a good food spot near our hotel after our overnight flight and found this place on Google. WOW. Not only are the staff super friendly but the chicken salad I had blew my mind, my hubs' ham sandwich was yum and all the desserts we tried (red velvet cake, carrot cake and chocolate chip cookie) were delicious yet light at the same time. I think the small details like homemade dressing, fresh bread, delicious coffees and smiles make it super special. A must try. Thank you from Denver, Colorado!!

We were searching for a good food spot near our hotel after our overnight flight and found this place on Google. WOW. Chose to visit Booven 18th November, after reading rave reviews. It did not disappoint! The manager Luke is an absolute delight. So friendly and personable with everyone, and what a sense of humour. It is evident this ethos runs throughout the whole team, who were equally as attentive and hospitable. A credit to Amsterdam and Holland. Enjoyed a selection of sandwiches, which we'd planned to take some of them away, but we were enjoying the ambiance and setting of the resturant too much! Recommend the meatball and spicy chicken ones. Various breads available, and all equally delicious. Thank you Luke and the team, for such a positive experience. Look foward to seeing you next time we visit for De Toppers,...

We visited on Sunday 23/10 @ lunch time with our little one. The team on duty that day were fantastic, from the young lady that welcomed us and been kid friendly to our little one ,while she asked for a juice and been shy at the same time. To the service , food presentation & taste . The team worked well on the floor covering each other, if one was held up talking to a guest/ menu query. This was our second visit here,the first time was back in 2019. It was nice experience back then. Menu's available in English. Background music was mixed popular tunes- liked it.
