Coffee Company. — Restaurant in Amsterdam

Always my go to place to remote work. All coffee company chain have a relatively easy policy on working here with your laptop. So lots of people are doing it and no one is going to give you the side look or an attitude.

Out of all the coffee company in Amsterdam, this one in my opinion has the best atmosphere and environment. People are all casual and either focus on work or enjoy coffee with friends.

So it can be busy, sometimes unable to find a spot for your laptop, sometimes a bit too much noise. But I always wait a bit with a coffee, there will soon be space freed up.

2nd time I've been here. Nothing particularly special but has a large open space onto Javaplein for drinking coffee in the sun and the cafe itself is well appointed for laptop users needing to work and chill. A short walk to the market on a Saturday at the cross street half way down Javastraat, Just about to check out the Sunday day scene in the area for a change, although probably nothing going on :-) Try and check back for the Rum Barrel in the evening, again on Javastraat. Some of the cocktails there...

I've been here a lot and the staff are always quick, friendly and very tidy. The coffee is always to a good standard and pretty consistent.

It's perfect for working or reading at your own pace. Despite it getting a bit busy at times it's usually relaxed and not too noisy. Wifi is good too but can get a bit slow if it's packed with people, which is fair enough.
