Dapur Lucy — Restaurant in Amsterdam

In general I don’t like to eat Southeast Asian food in Europe as I feel it doesn’t taste the same, not the vibrancy of flavours, top quality ingredients and passion for cooking.

However, Dapur Lucy absolutely crushed it.

They are really excellent Indonesian food, exactly like you would expect on the archipelago. The food is superlative, cooked with care and love, bold, evocative, a sensory overload.

We had such a wonderful time here with a small group of people and dinner was an absolute treat.

Look no further if you want good Indonesian food! And their crispy tempeh (sambal goreng tempeh kering) is the best in town.
