Katsu Coffeeshop — Attraction in Amsterdam

this was my local coffee shop whilst i was staying in amsterdam, visited this shop many times and had no problem apart from the weed being standard and the service was bad. We had been going to this shop everyday of our trip and the ladies that worked there became increasingly rude with every visit. On the third day it was something stupid like -8 degrees so we went into the shop to get out of the cold to roll and smoke. as soon as we sat down the women were demanding what we wanted and were being generally rude to us for no reason. we stayed in the shop for maybe an hour and we were smoking too and had bought drinks, we were sitting at a table minding our own business when one of the women that worked there came over to us and told us to leave? they said it was for other people to sit down but there was empty seats everywhere and space at the bar. It felt like everyone there knew what was happening and the staff and customers were laughing at us as we were leaving. this experience ruined our trip and has made me never want to go into another coffee shop again. if you’re english, don’t go to this...

I have always considered this place as a familiar coffeshop in which I felt comfortable and welcomed, but unfortunately today I had a quite unpleasant experience.This morning after I bought some weed and drinks, and after stopping by inside the place with a friend, I asked to the middle-aged guy at the bar for a glass of tap water before going back home.He spoke to me in a rude way, saying that in The Netherlands it is not customary to give free tap water to customers, and he seemed very annoyed by my request. I didn’t reply anything to him because I thought he was joking, but I then realized he was serious, and also the other customers nearby seemed negatively surprised and reply something back to him.This kind of experience makes you want to never come back, and just bring negative feelings. This place has really gone down the pan, it used to be a good neighbourhood spot. For years I used to spend a good amount of time here, used to be my favourite spot. I'd recommend to anyone! Good people behind the bar, fantastic buds and even better atmosphere. I don't know what's crawled into their rears, but... Over the last two years I've reluctantly kept giving them chances (cz I'm a loyal so and so), for them to just get worse and worse. Now a days the smell of entitlement hits you the second you start interacting with the staff. Nothing but crude indifferent rudeness from the aged-blonde-ladies behind the bar, specially the one with curly hair (awful attitude). I've watched them kick people out for nothing but ego trips, using things like "the type of ID" is wrong or people wearing caps/hats. Proper hostile for no reason. As for the buds...
