Everything was cooked to perfection. I received an appetizer on the house. I forgot the name but it was vegetarian and very delicious. The gentleman offered me wine tasting. He said that the dish I ordered was missing broccoli, but I did not notice because it was so good. He apologized and gave me a free dessert which was a perfect finisher for the night. Read moreLovey dinner at Rufus. It’s a very gezelligheid local place that serves great food at reasonable prices in a lovely atmosphere. The concept is Italian Albanian and it works really well. We tried and enjoyed some Albanian wine which was made from cab, merlot, and a local grape.
The pasta was all home made and full of flavor. We tried, lasagna, gnocchi pesto, oriecchette pomodoro with dry ricotta, and zucchini parmigiana.
Service was great and we spent a good bit of time chatting with the lovely owner. He’s Albanian and married to an Italian, thus the concept.
