De Nieuwe Anita — Restaurant in Amsterdam

I went there because I like the shows that are put on there. I saw an awesome burlesque show there just a few weeks back. Such energy and such beauty I haven't experienced in a while. Ladies with a message and an attitude. Although all of the performances where awesome, one stood out. Bustie La Tish was the most Impactful. Her energy was out of this world in a very good way. The details of her show were night and day compared to the others. Bustie is a star in her field. Her outfit was super mega cute. I had seen her in a show in Boom Chicago a couple years ago. I visited De Nieuwe Anita on a rainy Tuesday evening and will definitely plan to come back here. The staff were really welcoming, brimming with local knowledge. The place had interesting events going on that week, a good selection of drinks and overall, a really nice atmosphere. It has a living-room feel to it, with a well-stocked bar and a downstairs stage for live music. Look forward to returning for either a drink or catching a gig...

Great little music venue. Not posh but definitely fun. The group we heard played Rockabilly. The place was crowded with people having a great time listening, dancing and singing along. The only negative (and it's a small one) is the lack of air-conditioning. It was definitely hot but most people didn't seem to mind. We all had a great time.
