De Hallen Quarter is a really awesome place day & night. I stayed at the De Hallen Hotel (4⭐️ rated boutique hotel) while in Amsterdam and having great food, and attractions almost literally at your doorstep was amazing. The hotel itself is great, the rooms are exceptionally clean, plenty of space, great amenities and a massive bathroom. The food hall is foodie's dream. Every food stall is totally different, and even though there are 2 bars, they are also very different. 1 is like a specialised cocktail bar & the other more like a casual pub feel. There are also a bunch of specialty stores as well as convention centre spaces, so there would be a rotation of exhibitions and whatnot you may be able to attend. During my stay, there was film/movie/animation exhibition in one hall and also a massive cosmetics sale event in another hall, so there was a lot to see and do without even leaving the space. Which came in handy when the autumn rain was non-stop. Outside, there were street markets stalls selling more food, fresh fruit & veggies and vintage clothes and even basic phone cases, small electronics & batteries & more.

Amazing location with a Filmhalle (for all cineme fans) and Foodhalle (for everybody who is hungry). Visited the Foodhalle and spent a few hours there browsing and checking the food and drinks - every single thing was just amazing. There is hmm 20 locations there, small kitchens with different kinds of meals - from hamburgers and pizza through pita, sushi, crazy hot dogs, tapas, sweets, vegetarian meals, lebanese vegetarian meals till fish and mussels plus there is a bar with beers and another one with drinks. Just everything you might want to choose. Everything looks delicious and is served in an elegant manner. Only thing is: get a table before ordering - that one might be tricky cause there are hundreds of people visiting that place all the time. Definately try a goats cheese baguette tapas.. it was the best surprise there ;) - as seen on photos 3 and 4.

Worst service and manners I have ever encountered in a hotel in my life, at the front desk there was a guy with a tattoo on the left side of his neck that said "blessed" with a small crown , who had no name badge, with the worst manners and giving the worst service I have ever encountered. Totally rude and walking down the aisle making fuss with his hands and giving a pitiful show, this person is not qualified for any kind of work in front of the public. To continue, the person who introduced himself as "the manager" whose name is Saikat, not only did not call the attention of this guy who gave us a totally bad treatment, but he himself, gave a very bad service and a bad image of the hotel by saying that he did not have the room we had booked, and when we said that we didn't want to stay in the hotel and that they should please check us out, he suddenly replied that now he had the room we wanted, that he was the manager and had special connections and that he could make and break the reservation as he pleased. I repeat the name of this individual SAIKAT, he has been the worst "manager" of a hotel that we have been able to find, less professional and that has made our experience in the hotel has been horrible and that makes us NEVER recommend this hotel to anyone. Both of the people he quoted in this review are not qualified to work in front of the public, let...

It pleases me since the first time I visited a film theatre to be given the space and the room to feel welcome and allowed to be part of the movie experience and feel at home where I am. I have experienced repeatedly last year during screenings of Barbie, Las Béstias, an italian animation film and recently The Zone of Interest that I and a dear friend with whom I visit a movie theatre every fortnite are rushed out within two minutes after the finish of the screening.

A I firmly wish to have the allowed space to consume the product I have bought an entrance to B I feel robbed of the experience by the speed with which clearing and cleaning of the theatre room must happen C the amenities department serves coffee at a cost just below €4 with Lattiz milk in case of a choice for coffee with milk. Lattiz is neither milk nor healthy. I wish to ask for the availability of cow milk that must be consumed within ten days. D I am very pleased with the kind and welcoming young personnel at the ticket service desk E I am dissatisfied with the Hallen as a recurring venue for films festivals for which passe partout nor individual ticket pricing suited to the Stadspas Green Dot are not offered to the carriers of said social disability card F I very much wish to receive a personal response to my writing

Warm regards,

Daniël...
