A Wonderful Spot by the IJ River

I visited this place nestled alongside the beautiful IJ River, and I must say it left a lasting impression on me. The location alone makes it a gem, offering a serene and picturesque view that truly enhances the overall experience.

Upon entering, I was immediately captivated by the soothing ambiance and the delightful music playing in the background. The atmosphere was relaxed, inviting, and perfect for unwinding with friends or loved ones. What pleasantly surprised me was their pet-friendly policy, as I noticed several adorable dogs enjoying the space alongside their owners. This added touch of inclusivity made the place even more charming.

I particularly recommend trying the tuna melt brood.

Despite the slow service, I cannot emphasize enough how wonderful this place is. The prime location by the IJ River, the inviting atmosphere, the good music, and the fact that they welcome dogs all contribute...

Honestly, I was expecting more from your restaurant. For example, the hygiene of the tables and toilets especially in corona regulations it really disappointed me. I do not expect super comfort or luxury things, but the interior furniture was quite old and I can not say it was clean.

I guess you have 5 main courses on your menu and we ordered 4 of them. But to be honest, except lamsschenkel dish rest of them were poor product quality. Especially the steak! That was super tasteless. Even in Albert heijn you can have better steak which can simply be prepared at home. Even the fries served super cold by your kitchen. Normally I would open a discussion about it all, but I had the last dinner with my company and I was the one who suggested your place to have dinner. I turned a little bit ashamed about it that's why I haven't done it.

That was a nightmare experience! We booked a table based on their Sail Fest promotion, which promised a nice view of the water, a relaxing atmosphere, and delicious food. We received none of that. If we hadn’t already paid more than €80 per person in advance, we would have left as soon as we saw our table. Instead of a water view, we were placed far away, stuck between the grill area and the music stage, where it was so loud we couldn’t even hear ourselves. We waited half an hour just to receive the menu. The food was terrible, and even after I clearly ordered a non-alcoholic mocktail several times (being visibly pregnant), they brought me an alcoholic drink! This was the worst dining experience I’ve had in Amsterdam. Don’t give them any money in advance , it’s basically a scam. Our evening was completely ruined, and we didn’t even wait for the last meal to arrive...
