Barbie: The Dream Experience — Attraction in Amsterdam

As a Barbie Collector with long history of being into Barbie, I didn't expect much, and was afraid this will be something for kids. Absolutely wrong!!! This is a very thoughtful installation full of history and really meaningful dolls. I made best pictures of if my life! Every single room is a wonder filled with interactive ambiance. The path is broken down to decades, so when you got to your childhood decade be prepared to tear down⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Do not forget to print the boarding pass with your name ✈️ Cafe after the experience is something to talk about separately: best 1959 margarita 🍸, the chef went above and beyond to take care of my allergies, this was such a delicious lunch 🦐 🥗. Piece of advice: about 12 (when we went out) it has become more crowded, 10:30 was a great entrance time even on a Sunday. And don't forget the merch: keychains are something special. IT WAS GORGEOUS 🩷😭✨ I felt like all my childhood dreams came true. The rooms are larger than life, and my favourite was the salon and of course the mighty Dreamhouse🩷 The staff if so kind and always around for pictures, suggesting poses and props, so sweet. Your camera roll will cry and look pink asf but thats the goal🫶🏼 The exhibition like experience is beautiful and very thoughtful the way they have weaved the Barbie history, like its sequential, meaningful and unique. If you are a Barbie fan you will LOVE this place! Every room is thought out to the smallest detail. Very aesthetically pleasing and a wonderful immersive experience.

Things to consider, if you are an adult Barbie fan and want to create content.

Go as early as possible on a weekday to avoid kids running around. If you are taking pics etc. you’re not allowed to bring in lights or a tripod so keep that in mind as some rooms have low lighting that doesn’t compliment pics/vids.
