We pen this review for Da Vinci Ice Cream Parlor in Amsterdam with a sense of melancholy. This place, once cherished for its decent ice cream in an area where you could only find snackbars, is now more notable for its deplorable service, a change largely attributable to an influx of uninterested and unskilled staff.

Upon entering Da Vinci, one is now greeted with an unmistakable air of indifference, a stark contrast to the once mildly engaging environment. While the service here was always somewhat questionable, it has now plummeted to a level that is frankly unacceptable.

The ice cream, however, maintains its respectable quality. It's not a culinary revelation by any means, but it does provide a more satisfying experience than your average supermarket tubs.

Regrettably, even this minor positive is overshadowed by the appalling service that has become the new norm at Da Vinci. Our circle of friends, who were once regular patrons, have also noticed this deterioration and have started seeking out other places like Massimo at Marathonweg.

I live nearby and am a regular and loyal customer of your parlour( Stadionplein) and have always enjoyed visiting with my family. However, I am writing to express my disappointment with a recent experience that left us quite upset.

Yesterday, around 8:00 P.M., I visited your outlet with my family to celebrate my birthday and placed an order for four cones served in a cup. Unfortunately, the employee who served us not only provided noticeably less quantity than usual, but also behaved in a very rude and unprofessional manner. Her attitude was dismissive and unpleasant, which was both surprising and upsetting given the otherwise positive experiences we've had at your parlour in the past.

As a regular customer, I felt disrespected and offended by the way we were treated. I believe every customer deserves courteous service and fair value for what they pay.

I hope you will look into this matter seriously and take the necessary steps to ensure such incidents are not repeated. I am still a fan of your brand, but this experience has certainly shaken...
