To be honest, I rarely give 5 or 1 stars, because there is almost always something to improve, or a redeeming quality.

It's not the case with this establishment. After entering, I've waited almost 10 minutes before being asked if I was served already. As there wasn't a menu on the table (if which there aren't enough), I asked for one. It was hidden on a shelf, about 10 inches from the floor.

Ordered a cup of coffee so I could look into the menu. It took almost 15 minutes to arrive. No dish... the bare cup of black coffee and a spoon were unceremoniously dumped into the table. The drink itself was bitter, lukewarm, and even though there were heaps of salt, sugar, and pepper everywhere, there wasn't any milk in sight.

After drinking the coffee I sat for another 15 minutes. No one paid any attention.

I never, ever felt the need to start searching for another establishment, while not e en having paid. Even that took more than 5 minutes. While waiting, I saw three people groping in the bread basket to find just 'this' particular slice of bread. Ok... and others would need to eat that afterwards....

Save yourself the agony. Just go to the nearest Subway, or Jack Dish...

Terrible service. Went with my mom and ordered two cappuccinos, a carrot cake, and a sandwich. They were out of carrot cake despite it being early in the morning, so we had to pick something else and chose a pastry instead. The coffees and pastry arrived after 15 minutes, which is a lot considering the simple order, but the sandwich never came. We waited another 20 minutes, then noticed they started serving people who arrived later. When I asked about the sandwich, the waitress claimed they “didn’t get the order” even though she was the one who took it and repeated it out loud. No apology, just asked if I wanted something else instead, which made no sense. I ended up canceling because it would take another 20+ minutes. Coffee was not good, and the pastry was just okay. The coffee was served boiling in a cup without a handle and with no saucer, so there was no way to hold it comfortably or place the spoon anywhere. Dirty place, high prices, rude staff. We stopped this morning to get a sandwich and proceeded right to the counter as indicated. After getting our overpriced sandwiches (5.5eur for a cold sandwich kept in the fridge for days maybe), we stopped at a table to quickly eat them. Immediately the young man from the counter came to us and in a very loud voice said “You’re not allowed to eat here. The sandwiches you got qualify for take away only. We have more expensive sandwiches that you can eat inside.”

Needless to mention that there was no indication about this rule anywhere, nor did he ask if we wanted the sandwiches to be taken away or eaten there. The place was half empty.

What we found extremely rude was his loud aggressive voice in his attempt to protect the dirty tables that can be seen in the picture. I hope this young man doesn’t end up in a customer facing job for the rest of his life. That would be miserable. For him and...
