KFC — Restaurant in Amsterdam

Last time I was there I was shortchanged by 5 euros. I had to count and when I said there was too little I was handed a fiver, without explanation or apologies. Made me feel like it was intentional. When I was there before I went inside because there seemed to be a huge wait outside for the Druve in and I waited for half an hour, which is far too much. When I went to ask for my money back I had to ask five times while they kept on explaining that it was only another 5 minutes. This is of course against consumer law and only when I became quite insistent did they give me my money back after wasting another 5 minutes. If I had accepted that and if the food had indeed shown up in another 5 minutes then by that time the veggie loaded fries would have been 15 minutes old and I don't think anybody wants to eat that. Too few staff on this Thursday night at 19.30 (not a very busy time in the Netherlands). In general this was a good restaurant with very good veggie options. Extremely pathetic service Order No - 280, 6 July 2024, time 7:40 pm

The order was shown as preparing for 20 minutes, then ready for pickup. However, upon arrival, I was told it was still being prepared.

When I questioned why it showed as ready, the staff member rudely dismissed the screen as broken.

After waiting an additional 15-20 minutes, I inquired about the status again, only to be told by the same staff member that it was still preparing. The order took 50 minutes to be delivered,

with no apologies, and was handed over in an extremely rude manner. Upon checking at home,

I found that the staff made sure to ruin my dinner experience, salad was pathetic, veggie tenders were missing and the large fries I ordered were only medium with burger meal, mais turned cold as it's been in package for around 40 minutes till order was getting ready.

The service was very extremely poor and pathetic and it seemed like the staff had no interest in their job or providing good...

Since almost every KFC is much like any other one it is difficult to say something about each individual KFC restaurant. As you might know KFC restaurants are fastfood restaurants that specialize in (not surprisingly) chicken. Hence their name: Kentucky Fried Chicken. Having said this, most KFC restaurants in Holland stand out from their counterparts in other countries of the world because of their cleanness. Especially compared to KFC's in London. This particular KFC also has a small area with extra cosy seats. So these seats are most often occupied. Some additonal atmosphere is brought by some plants, and although fake, they do serve their purpose. The other benefit is that this KFC is situated in a foodstrip.
