After coming off the bus, I needed to use a washroom before the next part of my journey. The restaurant had a live band going that was very loud, I had to yell to the bartender for directions to the washroom. I noticed it cost 0.5 euros. While not a super high fee, I refuse to pay for washrooms on principle, because access to a washroom is a human right. There had been lots so far in Amsterdam, and I decided I could wait a little longer. It appeared that even patrons who order food and drink would have to pay for washroom use. When we passed through the station a few hours later, the band was very clearly audible in the terminal; I would never eat here if that's the...

Here for the week-end in Amsterdam, we went to Market 27 as it was close to our hotel : it was probably the best restaurant experience I've had in Amsterdam yet!

Shout out to the chefs at Granelli that were able to make a custom order for me, as I don't eat pork. It turned out to be delicious! You can definitly go for their pasta, the portions are huge as well.

Their cuisine is authentic and fresh, made right in front of you. The pizza looked so tasty too! The chefs were very friendly overall, which was very refreshing.

100% recommend if you're in the area! You have plenty of other choices in the food...

The Pad Thai at Siam Corner is pretty good. It's a bit sweet for my taste, but definitely wasn't bland as I experience at many other Thai restaurants in Amsterdam. I cannot recommend the Frites du Nord. They took a very long time for a simple order, my partner had his food only after I had finished mine. The drinks are also quite overpriced. It costs 3,40 for a 20cl bottle of Coke. So, in conclusion, I recommend taking food to go or ordeting delivery from Siam Corner. The food was fast and delicious!
