This one is for the MANAGER of the " restaurant " if we can call them like that...
We arrived at 9pm and wanted to use the toilets TO WASH OUR HANDS before eating. The employee refused us access as asked by his manager. We then asked if we could get a hand spray or desinfectant ... there was absolutely no hand disenfecant dispenser for use which is very concerning... Then, one manager in charge gave us tables cleaning product to spray on our hands instead - me + a kid without even asking for skin allergies or health issues first...
Now, arriving to our table, we discovered it dirty like many others - there was no rush and plenty of employees present but none willing to do their job apparently. This situation forced us and 2 others clients to wipe and clean our tables ourselves.
While eating, two other women begged to use the toilets. They got denied access as well... I've worked at McDonald's and never heard about such a rule requesting the managers to close the toilets while clients are still eating and for no emergency reason such as defect or flooding.
Before leaving the premises, I asked the employee if the toilets were functional and they were!
Now, I'm kinda forced to question the kitchen hygiene if there is none for the clients ... ???
Just to let you know, I will send this complain to McDonald's NL HQ as this is not the first time - please read other comments below. I will also inform the hygiene département - NVWA about this...
Read moreIt all started when the delivery conter crew cleaner the order number from the screens and the order in total took 14min 40secs to be delivered (4 menu order). Additionally we asked for eat in and we got a huge take out bag. When finding a seat there was no clear spots and when we kindly asked the staff to see if they could clean some for us they only collected one table's bag and turned their backs. We asked if by any means we could have the table whipped as both the table as seats were wet (indoor seating). We were rudely told that we could grab ourselves paper and clean it. We decided to ignore and clean ourselves. On top of it there were products we asked on the kiosk that we were told they were no longer available and we had to change our order afterwards. Quality of the products were really bad, the fries were fried at least 15min ago and the chicken was beyond dry. Facilities were closed, for example toilets. Overall with an empty restaurant and clearly overstaffed there was no excuse for this service. Way below the standards for McDonald's and a huge negative aspect on this branch at this location. Unfortunately we could see the exact same situation happening to clients coming 5min, 15min after us and they were treated the...
Read more1 counter to order, 1 counter to get the meal. You get a receipt with a number, and on a screen numbers are shown in order of meals in preparation and meals that are ready.
It looks and feels like a lottery as the screen makes no sense and staff has to call the number repeatedly to get the right customer to pick up the meal, while the 'assembly line' keeps producing meal ingredients. Witnessed quite some confusion. New customers don't know there is only one counter, with a huge line after a concert, and go to the pick up counter first. Orders easily go wrong and served customers must cross the waiting line.
Whoever invented this concept should work here on a busy night, collecting meals in the kitchen, hand them out in chaos while 'enjoying' arrogant and drunk customers. Felt sorry for the employees who work hard. 5 stars for them, 0 for the rest. Our hamburgers were next to cold once we got ours. Never experienced this at a McDonalds. One would expect that HQ tests...
