Marmaris Restaurant Hoekenrode — Restaurant in Amsterdam

I've had several experiences at this place, of which one was good. Because of that first experience, I ordered a pizza during my second visit here. My friend ordered a vegetarian salad, remembering it being good when she ate one before. Considering they combine the Italian and the Turkish kitchens, one should expect a whole array of items on the menu.

The food delivered was okay in size and temperature, but mostly tasteless. I've tasted worse pizza's, and I've certainly tasted better. My friend was highly disappointed that she ordered a salad in which avocado was said to be the main ingredient, but she could only find two slices of it in between the abundant amount of lettuce. As for the service, we arrived one and a half hour before our movie was to start, the restaurant wasn't very crowded and when asked if we would make it in time they assured us that would be the case. In the end, because of the wait for our food, we only made the movie because of the lengthy commercials and trailers. A Solid Pre-Concert Pick: Great Food, Minor Hiccups

My recent visit to Marmaris before a concert was largely a success, primarily due to the excellent food. Despite the restaurant being packed with fellow concert-goers, the kitchen clearly rose to the occasion. Every dish we ordered was delicious and well-prepared, definitely exceeding expectations for such a busy night.

The staff, while friendly, did seem a little stretched given the sheer volume of customers. We experienced slightly longer wait times particularly when trying to drinks top ups than usual, but considering how busy it was, their effort was commendable.

My only real niggle was the bill-splitting situation. For our large group, they were only able to split the bill two ways, which created a bit of a hassle at the end of the night. However, this was a minor inconvenience and certainly didn't detract from the overall positive experience.

All in all, if you're looking for a restaurant with reliably good food and a lively atmosphere before a concert, I'd definitely recommend it. Just be prepared for a bustling environment and perhaps sort out your bill arrangements in advance if you're in...

Wooooooooosuh! Stop the bus. I have eaten here only twice and on both occasions I have come to admit to myself this is the best place I have eaten since arriving in the Netherlands.

Don't be fooled, the Luxe mixed grill for 2 is easily enough for two adults and 2 kids, comes with a huge portion of fries and a huge portion of tasty flavoured rice.

The chicken pieces are flame grilled and they melt in your mouth, ohhhhh and the beef and lamb are grilled to perfection, juicey and tender and Flippin perfect delicious...that chicken will transport you somewhere else.

The cocktails are a bit on a triple tot strength so one cocktail will mostly likely finish you off.🤣 Marmaris is neat and clean and stylish and vibey and instagrammy and the staff are on thier feet getting orders out in speed. The whole restaurant is being revamped inside and outside area as well.
