Miss Scarlett — Restaurant in Amsterdam

Miss Scarlett is a friendly yet hip place with a remarkably good service. Every time I have been there, the personell is very friendly, helpful and in time with bringing menu's and food. Yesterday the place was packed, but we had a menu and drinks in no time and even the food was brought to us pretty fast. We had the vega taco's which were excellent! The beet salad and the sweet potatoe fries were equally excellent. I was surprised because the quality of the food has varied over time (sometimesreally good sometimes a bit less), but we come back every time because it is such a nice place and the service is always spot on. Yesterday, the food was ex-ce-lent, really. And the cheesecake was absolutely delicious. I rate the atmosphere 'only' four stars cause it is a bit noisy when it is full. I usually do not write reviews but this time I think I have to. First of all it was my first time at this restaurant and I was very curious about the burger. As you can see at the photo it’s raw inside. And I never asked for rare cooked burger. Also I never been asked how cooked I wanted it. My point is that for 16.5 euros worth burger this should be asked from the waiter. Even if that’s the way you cook it (rare) you should definitely inform before you serve it. Because in my case I don’t like it rare at all. So guess what? Half of the meat ended in the thrash bin. Overall, nice atmosphere and good quality ingredients. In my opinion is not worth the price. Currently, depending on the day, this place have a change on it's working mindset.

I really think and believe that waiters and waitress can be more active and OFC to pay more attention to the clients.

Furthermore, food is a little bit expensive for my expectations, it's not bad from the quality but the prices can be lower.

The drinks serving was is disapointing, sorry but i'm not keen on serving prepared glasses, I like to see what I am drinking with my own eyes.

The manager of the local has a really good behaviour with people and he really pays attention on the important.

I feel like they can improve a lot to become one trendy place in Amsterdam Zuidoost, because they have potential...
