Norma — Restaurant in Amsterdam

What a fantastic little place. A green wall a few outside tables and amazing pizza. To put it in context pizza is hubbys favourite food but I can take it or leave it. This one was so good I bought the leftovers back to the hotel! There were about 10 choices and I could have chosen most of them. My prosciutto pizza was to die for. A really tasty crispy base, rocket, lots of thinly sliced ham and truffle mayo. He had tomato and anchovy and declared it the best pizza he had ever had. Crispy sweet and salty he wants to go back for breakfast! The host and owner was super friendly, I had Bens crispy chicken as a starter and he had the olives. The chicken was delicious and could easily have been a main with the addition of some rocket and garlic bread. I found the curved plate annoying which was the only criticism I could find at all. We love Norma, and eat here approximately every 2 months. Every time we have visitors to Amsterdam, this is where we bring them because we love the atmosphere and the food so much! Norma feels like the perfect place to celebrate special occasions like birthdays or anniversaries (which we have done, and felt like guests of honour every time) but is also a welcoming spot for a casual weekday dinner. My favourite pizza is the Norma, and my partner often gets the Dronkenworst, but the seasonal pizzas are always a refreshing choice made with the same high quality ingredients we’ve come to expect from our favourite...

One of the best pizza places in Amsterdam! Started with a plate of their antipasti, it was filled with delicious meats, cheeses, etc. The pizza itself had a great crust and used quality ingredients for the toppings, especially the tomato sauce was excellent. I really enjoyed the combination of the spicy salami, sausage and hot honey on the Furio. The only complaint I have about this pizza is that the ingredients weren't spread out well, thus the edges were only tomato sauce. Overall I really enjoyed this restaurant, all our food came quickly and flavour wise it was amazing. I highly recommend...
