When moving to a new city, the best you'd expect to be able to say about the restaurant that just so happens to be the closest to your new apartment is that it's decent enough to visit if there's nothing better to do. Well, let's just say our expectations were greatly surpassed this time around. The cocktails and food here at Papa Zatarra were absolutely outstanding, both my burger and my girlfriend's chicken were delicious and the fries are the best I'veever had! And they have about 10 beers on tap! We will definitely be back and now fully understand the raving reviews...

This place is a scam - do not make a reservation here. We booked a table online for breakfast, but due to unforeseen circumstances, we had to leave Amsterdam earlier and couldn't have breakfast as planned. There was no way to cancel the reservation online as it was 5 hours before the reservation, and they do not provide a phone number to contact them. As a result, they charged us €65 for nothing.
