Un Sogno IJburg — Restaurant in Amsterdam

I had the pleasure of dining at Un Sogno in Amsterdam, and I must say, it was a truly delightful experience! From the moment I walked in, I felt transported to a cozy trattoria in Italy. The ambiance was warm and inviting, with soft lighting, and the faint aroma of garlic and fresh herbs filling the air. I had the margherita pizza and it was delicious. The crust and the generous amount of cheese and basil were a game-changer. Moreover, the service was top-notch. Our server was attentive without being intrusive, and they were more than happy to offer recommendations and answer any questions we had about the menu. We were too tired after a full day of touring Amsterdam and didn't have the energy to go down to the city again for dinner. So I googled what was open in the area (Sunday around 8pm) and found Pizzeria Un Sogno. I didn't have high expectations, the atmosphere was like a fast food place with 2 long tables. But I was wrong. The pizzas are made by a real Italian, Romana style, in a wood-fired oven, thin and crispy and taste great. I ordered Mista salad with buffalo mozzarella. It was also great and quite large. We had planned to have dessert, but I didn't expect such large portions and were consequently too full to profit from the dessert choice. But the tiramisu looked great, quite large, the portion is for two people. My friend and I were pleasantly surprised by this place. We were just passing by and decided to stop for some pizza. Pizza was delicious with a think crust. Romana style pizza not Neapolitana. A lot of topping. Tiramisu was huge 👀👀👀 We couldn’t finish it although we were two. Was also delicious and very fresh. Service was very good and friendly. The staff was very helpful and caring.
