Vascobelo V-Bar NoMA House — Restaurant in Amsterdam

Read this review... I have no idea where to begin. I have never been to a restaurant in which I felt the need to write a list of all the problems during the meal.

1- 4 euros EACH for tea, crazy 2 - 55 minute wait for lunch is inexcusable, especially for people who work and come here for lunch 3 - Burger tasted like it was frozen, no seasoning, similar to McDonald's 4 - Prices compared to quality, like other reviews say, is ridiculous. 5 - the appetizer came out at the same time as the entrée, why? I have no idea 6 - salad was also brand and the pomegranates inside tasted like nail polish remover, definitely not fresh.

I completely feel like I was ripped off at this restaurant and it is in fact the worst I have been to in Amsterdam. How it has more than a 4 star average I will never know because I'll never return. Don't even give...

I come to this café almost every day and usually enjoy it—especially the matcha, which is great. However, the last two days have been frustrating. Yesterday, I was told a much higher price than usual. When I mentioned what I normally pay, the staff adjusted it, but it didn’t feel professional.

I was also told I couldn’t order a matcha because they had just cleaned the coffee machine—which doesn’t make sense, since a matcha doesn’t require it. The person serving me was also quite rude and dismissive.

Normally very happy at any Vascobelo but last week was a sloppy experience. Ordered two times a-non alcoholic blond beer and when I got up I clearly felt tipsy and so did my girlfriend. We still had to drive for two hours, hence no alcohol. They admitted their mistake but didn't do anything about the check, it should have been a 0 euro bill.
