Noodle Works — Restaurant in Arnhem

We’ve been regulars at Noodle Works in Arnhem for a while, but after our most recent visit, we won’t be going back. The customer service we received was truly unacceptable. The main waitress, a woman who seems to also own and manage the place, deliberately made us wait for 50 minutes. When we politely asked if they had perhaps forgotten our order, she got extremely rude, canceled our food, and made us to leave, accusing us of being rude for "hurrying her." The level of arrogance was shocking. We’ve noticed the waitstaff constantly changing, and it’s clear that there’s a serious management issue here. The atmosphere is also far from welcoming, and considering there are so many other great restaurants in Arnhem with a much nicer ambiance and better service, it’s simply not worth the hassle or the money. Why would anyone want to dine somewhere where they’re treated so disrespectfully? We’ll definitely be avoiding Noodle Works from now on. It is more like Noodle factory. There are plenty of better...

I usually go to this restaurant because in Arnhem options are limited (usually food is overpriced and overrated). I like the food, the menu is good but could be expanded a bit. It’s not like food in Asia of course but for the price and quantity I think it’s very reasonable. The staff is usually friendly, the waiting time can be long but mostly worth it. For Asian food in the Netherlands I must say it’s tasty compared to other places I have tried.

Today I ordered food for my friend on her birthday, and we are both sick so we couldnt go out. When ordering I mentioned it’s her birthday and if they can add something to the order, and I thought just a birthday note but to my pleasant surprise they added complimentary mini spring rolls to our order with a note “Happy birthday!”. Very disappointed, we ordered our food and were very clear about avoiding certain food groups, the menu didn't indicate any of these food groups.

We got a wrong dish including the food groups we cannot eat and when we notified the staff we were laughed at over the course of our time in the restaurant, when paying the check at the register we still had to pay despite not having touched the wrong dish and explaining the situation once more.
