Order: Pineapple Coconut Rum pancake and Banana Nutella Vanilla Ice cream pancake Price: $30 Positives: The coconut rum shot you got was interesting, Nutella was very good Negatives: Wait times for everything, honestly just not as good as the other pancake place, bit of a chaotic atmosphere tldr: Good, but there are better pancake places on the island and the liquor thing comes across as more of a gimmick

Thoughts: My wife loves crepes and the Dutch style pancakes are pretty close to crepes, so we wanted to try a few different places while we were here and Linda’s was our second in line. When we arrived, their place looked fairly full but not packed and there were several people in line but no one at the “check in” desk. It took almost 10 minutes for someone to come over and great the line and start to get people seated. Overall the restaurant and staff as a whole seemed pretty chaotic. There was lots of movement but not a consistent routine just random things happening. Because of this it took a while to place our order, get food and finally get our check.

The pancakes were very good, and the pineapple coconut rum pancake actually came with a shot glass of coconut rum and it was an interesting combination but nothing that really blew me away, and it wasn’t really worth the extra $5 in my opinion. I actually like my wife’s build your own pancake more. The Nutella wasn’t the American Nutella so is was creamier, less sweet and had a better chocolate flavor. The vanilla ice cream wasn’t particularly amazing in its own but the contrast between hot and cold was good.

The pancake itself was also good but did have a crispy edge all the way around the edge where it was thinner than the body of pancake. The pancake seemed like a fitting example of Linda’s as a whole. Really good, just not quite the best. I think in many places Linda’s would be outstanding, but with so many different options in Aruba it falls just short...

A Must Do

We sat outside where a noisy group was mildly annoying. Some locals also sat down outside, then moved inside, either due to the heat, or the noise. Otherwise, enjoyed Aruba's great outdoors.

Mary Jane was our main server; she and the other woman serving were friendly and fun. Enjoyed talking to Mary Jane.

Breakfast was great and very filling. We started with Dutch Coffee - compare to espresso. Mary Jane told us we would just want one and she was right. You can also get American Coffee. Between the four of us, we ordered from the 'savory' side two Bacon and Cheese Pancakes, one Bacon and Apple Pancake; from the 'sweet' side, one Strawberry and Nutella Pancake. These are more like crepes, the size of a dinner plate! I was told the way to eat them is to add your extras - cinnamon, powdered sugar, etc., roll it up, add syrup and cut into little 'pinwheels' to eat. The syrup is made from beets, was thick and tasty. Before you decide not to try something made from beets, recall that most American Syrups are made from high fructose corn syrup. I think my favorite pancake was the Bacon and Cheese, with the Bacon and Apple a close second.

We had this as Brunch and did not eat again until supper.

Total cost for four, before to, was$49.68 USD.

We can easily...

Oh man! How can I start, this place was amazing! The service is top quality, everyone is so nice and most speak spanish or english in case you don’t understand papiamento. They’re all very assertive and fast. The place itself is cozy and very clean, a nice homely atmosphere with little details such as dutch art in the pillars and whatnot. They give you free water! Also pepper, salt and sweetener, the usual. The Pancakes were the perfect size, cooked just right and they’re all so delicious! Loved the variety of pancakes and beverages, and that syrup was out of this world! The fruit on the pancakes was really yummy and the cream had that nice texture and sweetness. The bacon was nice and crunchy, not too salty which is perfect, and it had some good melty cheese. The honey option was so honey I almost tasted the bees, so lovely. All in all, this was a great place to have a special breakfast in the middle of my trip, a bit on the expensive side but hey, what’s a vacation without spending a bit too much once in a while?. Amazing place,...

Start your vacation here head to the butterfly farm directly after for free admission till you leave! We read the reviews on google and decided on linda's for our first dutch pancake experience. The pancakes were amazing. With the texture of a French crepe, and the bulk of an American pancake. I had the bacon mushroom and gouda. The bacon in the pancake was actually very good and I was happy I didn't ask for it bacon on the side. I suggest sharing if you aren't very hungry because it's very filling. And there is the cutest kids playhouse on the side of the outdoor dining room. ... oh yea, this is an outdoor dining room only but with the fans spinning we were very comfortable. Did I mention the butterfly farm is down the road and a great way to walk off your breakfast and start your vacation. You have free admission every day till you leave! A great way to have morning coffee!
