Wacky Wahoo's in Aruba is a lively and popular spot known for its fresh seafood and lively atmosphere. From the moment you step into Wacky Wahoo's, you're greeted with a vibrant energy that sets the tone for a memorable dining experience. The restaurant's casual ambiance and friendly staff make you feel instantly welcome.

The menu boasts a mouthwatering selection of fresh seafood, with daily specials featuring the catch of the day. My lobster tail was succulent and tender. The accompanying sides were equally delicious, complementing the main course beautifully. My wife enjoyed the grouper which was outstanding.

What truly sets Wacky Wahoo's apart is the quality of their ingredients. You can taste the freshness in every bite, a testament to their commitment to sourcing the finest seafood. The generous portions ensured we left the restaurant feeling satisfied but not stuffed.

While the food is undoubtedly the star of the show, the service at Wacky Wahoo's is also top-notch. Our server was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. They made excellent recommendations and ensured we had everything we needed throughout our meal.

Here are some highlights of our dining experience:

Fresh, high-quality seafood: The taste of the ocean was evident in every dish. Generous portions: Excellent value for the price. Lively atmosphere: Perfect for a fun and casual night out. Friendly and attentive service: Our server was a true asset to the restaurant.

If you're a seafood lover visiting Aruba, Wacky Wahoo's is an absolute must-try. They do not accept reservations, so be prepared to wait as it is a popular stop in visitor’s dining rotation.

Major disappointment, (it’s a tourist trap) mediocre food, don’t know what the hype is about. Ordered ceviche - 2.5 out of 5 for taste- it’s a large portion & good value for price, but taste is at most mediocre - fish is fresh, but not delicious. Ordered the cream of the ocean soup - 3 out of 5, definitely not something to ever wait in line for or to come back for. Bread is decent. Pasta - fettuccine Alfredo is like a food court meal, but portion size is very large and it is a good size value if you are into empty calories - the taste is meh.

The cherry on the top - while multiple groups are still dining, the staff cleans other tables with potent, strong smelling chemicals (right next to us), the smell is the same after Starbucks cleans their toilet at the end of the day. It’s horrible when you are dining. We were a large group and asked to cancel our main courses because of this. When we told the manager, she didn’t seem to care and had the attitude of “we have many clients and you, “clients” will keep revolving. Yep, we are just another tourist, just another experience they care nothing about.

The only thing this place delivers on is large portions for less cost. I’d rather pay more and eat delicious food without the ridiculous bathroom chemical smell next to my food. The smell was there for at least 20 minutes - the whole time while we were waiting to pay and pack up our food.

This place came recommended several times, but was a disappointment, another tourist trap hyped up (likely because of their generous portion size). Better leave this on the bottom of your list if you are not convinced...

Mediocre cooking. The staff is indifferent to your experience - they would disinfect a nearby table with some cheap spray and make it smell like a fresh Starbucks toilet around your table, which is super unappetizing and kills any vibe to eat. Imagine you are having your appetizer and it starts to smell like a familiar fresh bathroom smell at Starbucks toilet - that's how it will be for you if you have a table next to you get vacated and cleaned. If you can't imagine what I'm talking about then just simply spray Windex or Mr Clean or something at the other side of your table today at home during dinner - see how you would enjoy your dinner after that.

The worst part is that the staff at Wacky would not understand it. It's such a touristy place with such high traffic that they would not give a flying fk about something displeasing to their customers.

The food is truly mediocre. It does not worth the wait and the price they charge. Whoever post raving reviews about this culinary underachiever - I don't share your enthusiasm. This is a subpar dining establishment because of its ignorant staff and food-court food. Not...

Délicioso! When in Aruba, visiting this restaurant is a MUST DO if you enjoy seafood! If you do plan to go, please review arrive at an hour earlier to line up and ensure your hungry so you can try their salad, fish entrées and dessert. Their bread ... YUM! The staff are kind and helpful. My family and I went once ... and then my sister and I went twice during our stay. I recommend trying the Barracuda filet; however, my sister would recommend the special that includes the ravioli. If you like a little spice, please try the blackened style. My favorite was the grilled ... it came with tomatoes and olives with a onion topping side that you could put on top of the fish, with vegetables, plantains and coconut corn bread (so tasty). I do wish that they had more t-shirts available to purchase as they are fun. As a tourist, I would love to come home, wear it and share with my friends ... "I love Aruba! Look where I ate?! You gotta eat here!". 😋 An amazing time and definitely a place to eat more than once. Thank you Wacky Wahoo for a beautiful meal and a wonderful time! "I will be back!" 😃

Fresh grouper, barracuda, shrimp, red snapper, calamari, omg this is just 100% where you need to go when you come to Aruba, man. For the catches of the day those come with plantains, a type of cornbread but not cornbread it's like a combination of a pancake a pita and cornbread and the filets of fish you choose of 3 ways. Panseared, blackend, or grilled. I tried the blackened and the pan fried and personally I loved tge panfried best. The filets are laid on a bed of the most amazing rice ever and another sauce and its all just so good man every single thjng there. I heard some places serve like....not 'real' seafood or something weird I'm sure the person was just talking crap but YES go to Wacly Wahoos and do it now lol. Only thing is they don't take reservations and they get packed immediately. No line outside per se but show up right and opening time or just before and you'll get a table. If you shoe up 30 minutes after they open you'll be waiting. But it's popular because it's so worth it. Muah, 100,000/10 Chefs kiss. No GO!
