DISCRIMINATION NOTICE‼️‼️‼️‼️

BEWARE OF THIS STAFF (SANTOS) AT PLAYA LINDA (Look at the Video, you will see how arrogant this staff is, is this an act of a staff of a premium hotel?)

Context: We are the only Asians on this place during this time

We love Aruba and its people and we always had a great time with locals everywhere we go, we work on cruise ships and we go at this place (Playa Linda) every time we dock at Aruba.

We always love to dine and drink in this place since they have nice bars and the place is peaceful.

But today, for the first time, a very disrespectful staff (Name: Santos) Time: 4:30PM Date: Nov 4, 2025

The staff (Santos) is in charge of folding the lounges, usually around 5pm the staff will fold the beds and chairs as we know since were always here.

We’ve been in our spot as always eating, drinking and chatting for almost 2hrs when we decided to move to the other bar since the other bar is closing already.

Then suddenly he SHOUTED at us very aggressively! He said we are “making his job harder” because we switch positions, we simply moved few feet away from our previous spot since we wanted to be nearby the bar (LIKE WE ALWAYS DO)

We got shocked! Since this is the first time somebody did this to us in Aruba. Working on cruise ships we are also in the “hospitality and tourism business” We couldn’t even believe that a supposedly “friendly place” is where we will experience something like this.

We let it go for a while but this guy kept on shouting at us very disrespectfully, and then he said. “We shouldn’t even be here” “This is not for our kind.”

Then this is where we started to confront him and arguments started, we asked for the manager but this guy even boasted that he will call security, where we agreed, security came and that security staff (we didn’t got his name), was even so nice and polite and wanted us to just transfer to the other side of bar, even the bar staff are concern with us since the argument was getting heated.

This Santos, didnt even stop and threatened to call the police, where we even agreed, so we can file a report, but the nice security staff just calmed us down and advised us to just transfer bar and just report this guy.

Hopefully, good people of Aruba who will see this post will let help us get this report to Playa Linda and repercussion will be made for this unfortunate incident.

We will not stop until we will be heard, we are good people, who spend good money to support the Island of Aruba. We never ask for anything special, we just demand respect and equality.

For those who have a good heart and would like to help us make this incident reach the proper authority.

I am a Senior Doctor at one of the major cruise line, and if you can help us, I will be forever in debt for your kindness. Please comment or send me a message.

Thank you for reading this and may God...

We recently stayed at Playa Linda for one week and it was our first time staying at this resort. It was an amazing experience. This resort is very relaxing and not a party resort. It's an older timeshare property that is very well maintained and provides families with a great Carribean vacation. We stayed in a studio suite with a view of the pool and ocean from our nice size patio. The room was clean and well equipped with a small kitchen that is applicable for a studio size. The staff was very welcoming, and other guests were very friendly. They will email you a list of daily activities upon check in which included aqua fit at the family pool every day at 11 and bingo at 1:00 during our stay. There family pool has a zero entry point which makes it very friendly. The adult only pool is 4 1/2 feet and the family pool goes up to 7ft ||1. Chickees/huts can be reserved as early as 6 AM at the pool or beach. We had no problem getting a hut each day. The friendly beach attendants will assist you by setting up the beach chairs. You don't need assistant at the pool and can easily reserve the space after 6. The towel hut doesn't open until 8 AM and closes at 5 so you will need to keep your towel the day before to use to reserve your space or use other items. Remember to bring CLIPS because it is very windy and you will need to clip your towels, hats, clothing, etc to the chairs when not in use. ||2. There is an air tank on the beach for you to blow up inflatables. |3. There is free ice and water dispenser and coffee on the beach for guests.|4. There is not a swim up bar but there is a restaurant bar right next to the pool as well as the Beach Bar and Carlito's Bar and their hostesses walk around to take drink and food orders around lunch, and they will bring to you pool side. ||The resort is conveniently located in Palm Beach and easily walkable to numerous restaurants and stores. ||During our stay, we could not charge anything to the room at the on site restaurants because they are changing over to the new computer system. They were up front about this temporary change.||We had an overall wonderful experience and would definitely recommend...

Our first visit here, and we already have 2 additional weeks for 2024! The customer service experience is impeccable the moment your door is opened for you. They pay attention to detail. The cleanliness is exactly what you would expect at a luxury resort. The rooms are incredible. We stayed with my aunt in her timeshare, which has 2 bedrooms and 2 full baths. It comes with a full-size kitchen and everything you need to cook. It also has a good size living room. The 2nd bedroom has 2 twin beds with a bureau for each bed. Lots of closet space, so there is no need to live out of your bag. There is a 2nd full-size bathroom as well. The entrance/exits one is from inside the resort (spend the 5.00 and get the wristband that you can wear in the water). Inside the room, you have 2 outside entrances like literally open the door, hello ocean! We learned so much our week here. For example, if you want a specific location to be yours, you need to be there at 4:30 am. The beach staff and security are incredible. They will get your chairs for you. They provide you with beach towels, but make sure you return them. The beach is spotless. The water is clear. Also, bring a water bottle and refill it at any station you see or back in your room. Save your money because the water tastes great! They have outside showers, places to wash your flip flops and feet off. You can order food to be delivered to your chickee that allows you to be under the shelter from the sun, rain, or whatever! They have a designated adults only pool and hot tub. The other pool has a beautiful waterfall and chairs in a section where you can lay in a few inches of water. They have bingo every day at 1 pm. It's fun, and the payouts are decent. The gym gets the job done, especially when you don't want to feel like a failure! They have a tranquil spa. Honestly, we can't say a single negative thing. You should...

Gorgeous, love it here, surrounded by beautiful beach, dozens of great restaurants, rooms are clean, staff has been super friendly everywhere. The two minor downsides- the pull out bed should be outlawed and the beach hut (chikkee) situation is convoluted. Get to chikkee by 4am if you want front row, 6 If you want a beach one at all (you might get lucky and find one that late.) Don't leave it for more than 2 hours, be here at 730ish to get lounge chairs which are locked up at night. Enjoy chikkee. But get one... the sun here is too much without shade. It's hot hot hot but the constant breeze makes this an amazing location.
