I believe this place is under construction. The photo that shows up when searching this place shows that it's across from the water. But I order to find it when you arrive there are signs leading you inside of a mall area where construction is going on. It wasn't pleasant to sit in there and I noticed quite a few people came and left because it's really nothing to look at. The service was nice and they had a special for $25 with fish, rice, fries. Soda and a dessert. The food was ok. Nothing spectacular but not bad. My friend got shrimp pasta and it came with garlic bread.b it was a huge portion. It tasted fine but definitely could have used some garlic. My fish was red snapper filet that was pan fried and had a weird green garlic sauce on the side. I didn't like the smear of something red on the plate. They said I could get half rice and half fries which I did but they put it on a small plate which was a bit annoying to pick rice off the fries. The veggies were frozen veggies like most places on the island serve. The choice for dessert was a piece of banana cake or strawberry ice cream. I had the banana cake & it was just fine. The man who welcomed us and took our order was very nice. He said he was from Dominican Republic and the he really liked the island. He asked me why I was there and I explained that I love traveling. I think if when the construction is finished and they have the outside seating it will be a nice place.

I thought the best part of this place was our waiter, Ricardo! He was absolutely delightful! I love the location and atmosphere and since there were no cruise ships in, there was plenty of seating. Julian's is a no thrills restaurant and has a pretty simple menu. I ordered the chicken breast which came with veggies and rice, fries, or half and half. Hubby got the chicken Alfredo. Dinner included a soft drink and dessert for $25. Dessert was either a chocolate brownie or vanilla ice cream. I liked my food but didn't love it. I might come back to try the steak sandwich.

Last dinner on the island and I wanted fish. We had fantastic service and an evem better meal. There is a pleasant influence of the Dominican Republic flavor! We had Red Snapper, and Mahi Mahi- dinner includes vegetables and rice or fries - they will even do half rice and half fries! The green sauce (a cilantro and parsley lemon blend) has a refreshing taste and is wonderful on the rice and fries. Dessert is even included! We had banana cake and ice cream - both very good. Thank you, Julian, for a wonderful final night!

Great fish. Hubby had the "catch of the day" which was Mahi-Mahi. I had the fish sandwich (also Mahi-Mahi). The fish was fresh caught that morning. It was perfectly done, flaky, yet juicy. The fish sandwich was on panini, and LOADED. Spring lettuce mix, grilled onions, cucumbers, pickles, tomatoes, 2 onion rings (and I might be missing a few things). I will go again, just for that. Friendly staff, quick service, A/C indoors, and outside seating. Better to go on non-cruise ship days, because you will be parking on the street, or in the local lots which are really full on those days. Don't...

We had dinner at Julian‘s three times while we were on Bonaire. The restaurant only has a couple of tables. You can‘t make reservations. If all tables are occupied you have to wait until you are seated but people usually don‘t stay after they finished so that the waiting time is acceptable. The signature dish is the catch of the day. It comes with fries or rice, a free soft drink and dessert. It isn‘t fancy but tasty am the price is absolutely fair. The staff is very nice and the view is nice. If you like fish and you don‘t look for something fancy you should...
