Recommended by an islander. Solid experience. Fish--I had red snapper, friend had barracuda--was tasty, but I didn't love it with the creamy sauce. I chose a side of rice with the meal, and the sauce worked with with that as well as the assortment of steamed veggies. Attentive tableside staff. Indoors was warm, but fans were running full speed and doors open, so it was not oppressive. There is outside seating but I recommend reservations for that. Our tour guide, Ina recommended Mona Lisa as her favorite restaurant. I know why. The service was very attentive, the atmosphere was very Bonaire. Food was absolutely fantastic! The Bonairian fish soup was creamy and slightly cheesy with large pieces of delicious white fish. The barracuda filet was perfectly grilled and seasoned with a buttery mustard and caper sauce that was heavenly. It was very enjoyable eating such fantastic fare and watching people walk by outside. Good as alway, fresh fish perfectly cooked! Delicious bread and spreads to start with, then Wahoo carpaccio and raw Tuna salad as a starter.
