Restaurant La Luna — Restaurant in Breda

This is an excellent restaurant.

All the food is halal and they do not serve alcohol. The decor is nice and modern.

The food is Mediterranean, with a Moroccan flair, and some typical items, such as steak, and hamburgers.

The dish I chose was beef tagine. It was very well prepared, the meat was very tender. The dish is served with bread and fries. The sauce accompanying the fries is seemed like sweet fritesauce/mayonaise. It was a bit sweeter than I'd like, but this is a personal taste issue. The bread served with the tajine was nice and fluffy.

My wife took the salmon, which was well prepared, not too dry, not raw, just right. The potato puree it was served with was very good, as it was quite tough, and was not too wet/soft.

We also had fish soup, it had a strong tomato taste, I would have preferred less tomato taste. But it was quite delicious nonetheless.

A major plus in this restaurant is the hygiene of the restrooms as well as the separate place to pray for Muslims.

I will recommend this restaurant...

La Luna – Een parel van Marokkaanse gastvrijheid!

Afgelopen weekend heb ik bij La Luna gegeten, en wat een fantastische ervaring was dat! Het restaurant straalt niet alleen warmte en gezelligheid uit, maar is ook vlekkeloos schoon. Je merkt meteen dat hygiëne hier een prioriteit is, wat een fijn gevoel geeft.

De gerechten bij La Luna zijn een ware traktatie voor de zintuigen. De tajines zijn perfect op smaak, de couscous luchtig en vol van smaak, en de kruidenbalans is precies goed. Mijn persoonlijke favoriet was de lams-tajine met abrikozen, een combinatie van zoet en hartig die me echt naar Marokko deed dromen. Ook de Biefstuk en Gegrilde kipfilet net groenten waren favoriet van onze kinderen, die al niet makkelijk zijn met eten.

De service was uitstekend – vriendelijk, attent en altijd bereid om uitleg te geven over de verschillende gerechten. De sfeer voelde huiselijk, alsof je bij vrienden op bezoek bent, wat de hele ervaring extra bijzonder maakt.

Voor wie op zoek is naar een plek waar hygiëne en smaak hand in hand gaan, is La Luna dé plek om te zijn. Ik kom hier...
