Stadspark Valkenberg — Attraction in Breda

Update 5 years later from my last review. I still think this is one of the most beautiful parks. But unfortunately people don't take care of it and the municipality cares little to nothing about it. The lake drowns in plastic. Every corner is a garbage corner. Plastic everywhere.

God forbid for a sunny day because everyone will leave behind their garbage which ends up in the lake or in the canal.

It's a beautiful park but way too many drug...

Park itself is very nice. Small,but I like what was done there. I love those chickens running around, it's really cute. However, I need to take a star or 2 away, because it can be very messy there. People often times just leave trash everywhere. Also, everytime I come, I had a "luck" To see some dead animal ( fish, birds, ducks... ) What is happening there? Some Brenda's animal...

Very lush and open park, right in the centre of Breda. There is lots of greenery, trees, and a wide range of roaming birds; these include chickens, ducks, goose and more. In the park there is a fountain in a lake, and one can cross over a bridge and look at the beautiful scenery. there is also a store/cafe and a kids play area. All in all this park is a great place to hang...
