Pizza Hut is always better in Curacao than it is in the US. It is also twice as expensive; for example, the equivalent of a large super supreme at Pizza Hut in Curacao is about 64 florin, or about $37 USD. It may come with 22 slices, but the slice size is more like a sliver, not enough to feed a child or an adult.
Basically, three of those silvers would be the equivalent of ONE regular slice. We have been noticing that a large used to look like a large, but now, this year it looks like a medium. This seems be happening at Pizza Hut locations everywhere, even in the US.
Still, it is worth your trip to visit Pizza Hut in Curacao for several reasons. The pizza tastes so much better in Curacao, and they place their spin, or special touch, on many of the pizzas with gouda cheese and other local ingredients. It is so enjoyable. Hence, when a large looks like a medium, it ticks you off because the pizza goes FAST! Service, service, service: very warm service (they need more employees because it can take some time to receive your food, so do not go there hungry or you you will be HANGRY). It is a nice dining experience. The Salinas location is nice, but you can also go to the one in...
Read moreI normally like pizza hut but these days it takes more than a hour to eat with them it's very said even they say it 45 min it's an hour sometimes more. the other thing the hotwings were great but they so little I guess I need to understand why this place got even the change to win best of the best. I saw alot even manager nd coworkers discussion in the front and everyone is looking , every time you hear " e porta" means to open the door after a good wait still the clients have to wait. This is sad but we need to improve. The old ways under older manager this place use to be great in 0:30 you are serve in 10-15 min you have been seated to a table and so on.Sta. Maria the vibes feels like more good and they are more friendly and smile with client. We need a...
Read moreWe arrived at the restaurant, there is a sign at the restaurant which asks customers to wait to be seated. We waited at least 5 min, waiters were talking to each other, and nobody approached us to take us to a table. After more than 5 min, we asked the waiters for a table, and they simply pointed all the tables which were available, so I wonder what is the point of this sign at the entrance?
Every time the entrance door is opened, there is a very annoying noise which makes the atmosphere really uncomfortable.
Service in general in the island is more than terrible. Now after 3 days here I realize there is simply no culture of customer service. This will happen in most of the restaurants at the island, so you need to be prepared to face these...
