La Place — Restaurant in Dijk en Waard

I just went there to have lunch and I ordered a Greek salad , a fruit shake and a desert . The dressing for the salad was extremely bitter so I went back and asked a lady who worked there to give me some other dressing instead . First of all she was very rude and said she doesn’t have anything else , then I kindly asked her for some oil and vinegar and she only offered the oil , saying she has no vinegar . Unfortunately the oil was also not a good quality olive oil so I just drank my shake , ate the desert and left the rest there . I was thinking that with the money I spent there for this meal I could have easily gone to Bagels& Beans or even Wonders and could have eaten something very nice ( and also would have had polite staff attending ) . PS : everything looks very nice and fresh , but the taste is sometimes not the best ( for the price you pay ).There was also one lady that was preparing sandwiches with salmon and she had long nails and was not wearing gloves. Onhygiënisch . De oudere dame met haar in knot en bril op , moet aangepakt worden door iemand die hoger in het management zit. Tenzij het haar eigen toko is , wat ik niet hoop.

Het is niet acceptabel en zeer onhygiënisch beide handen in de achterkant van je broek te steken ( jeuk? ) om vervolgens met die zelfde handen een kop thee op te pakken .

Tijdens rookpauze loopt een andere collega naar buiten om een sigaret op te steken met de zelfde rubberen zwarte handschoenen waarmee hij etenswaren ( smoothies maken) bereid. Bovendien is het glaswerk niet schoon.

Tevens was zij erg onvriendelijk tegen klanten omdat die niet naar boven mochten, omdat ze geen extra schoonmaakwerkzaamheden wilde verrichten ivm te kort aan personeel. Kan best zijn maar zoiets hoor je niet tegen de klant te zeggen die komt daar voor een kop koffie of gezellige lunch. Kortom ik kom hier niet meer terug. Vooral ook omdat er om half 3 geen soep meer was. Terwijl jullie om 18:00 uur sluiten. Qua La Place beleving is deze tent nog geen...

Really rude staff, ordered a breakfast which included coffee but was charged extra for the coffee. When I disputed this, the staff member I was talking to was really unhelpful and couldn’t or wouldn’t give a good reason for this and refused to refund me. The bread was a bit stale....
