Light of India — Restaurant in Enschede

It was a horrible experience for 4 of us when we inquired about a food item during our dinner the chef misbehaved and literally refused to serve us food. This behaviour of an Indian chef was like a bully and We are paying for our food why should we be bullied ? I had high expectations as the atmosphere seemed cozy. As I was walking to the bathroom I found that the floor was sticky to the point that my shoes made noices walking across. Klein authentiek familierestaurant. We (4 collega's) zaten bij het raam met uitzicht op groepjes voorbijgangers, dikwijls voorzien van kingsize joints. Achteraf was de plek ongelukkig omdat het ook vlak naast de voordeur was. Deze bleef vaak op een kier openstaan nadat iemand binnenkwam of wegging, met een onprettige tocht in de nek van mijn chef tot gevolg. Ik nam pakora vooraf. De gefrituurde groentes waren beetgaar en niet zompig. Zo hoort het. De linzensoep en sheek kebab (leken wel frikandellen) van mijn collega's scoorden ook ruime voldoendes. Mijn hoofdgerecht was een Lamb Jal Farezi. Stond aangegeven als pittig maar dat viel erg mee. Achteraf had ik de vindaloo (normaal moet je dan wc papier in de vriezer leggen voor de volgende dag) ook wel aangedurfd. Alles ging op en het pannetje werd schoongeveegd met de diverse soorten naanbrood. De voorraad Kingfisherbier was al gauw op waarna we overgingen op Cobra.
