This charming restaurant with a delicious menu just gets your taste buds working overtime! Since it was a warm summer night, we chose to sit outside in the alleyway. The narrow alleyway added to the intimacy and the menu was also written on the walls for your benefit. We decided to go for the three course menu special and we were not disappointed. I chose a salad with smoked salmon which was light and fresh with a lemony zing. I settled on the lamb for mains and it was out of this world. Very nice “brown café” in the city center of Gouda. Food is priced very good with a 3 course menu starting at €28,50 excluding drinks. It put me right back to the 70's.. like De Schutter in Amsterdam. Brown eetcafé with great food, lovely service, we were so lucky to get a seating on such a busy evening, sitting at the bar end.
