Bierlokaal Café de Koffer — Restaurant in Groningen

Lovely little bar with a great selection of beers from all over the world. Quite cosy and can get quite busy inside which is why I was very surprised when our group got shusshed there. Repeatedly. Very weird. Anyway, whatever it was a nice bar so we went back a few weeks later and the same thing happened again. I mean sure our friend has one of the greatest laughs of all time which can rack up a few dB's but definitely nothing excessive! First time I think I've ever seen that at a bar. Anyway like I said great choice of beers and aside from the shhhushing the bartenders are very friendly and helpful in your choosing of the beer. So! Would I recommend it to a friend? Yes. Will I go again? Definitely, it's literally 2 blocks from my house and I like it there. Of course I will go there again. Will we get ssshhhh'd again? Probably, I mean there is definitely a pattern emerging there. Will we ever get asked not to come back? I dunno, I think they like us more than they let on. When you're living close by and someone invites you to a drink, the Koffer is the most exquisite place to visit, especially, if you are a beer fanatic. It offers a wealthy plethora of special brews, either on tap, in can or bottle, and the cosy atmosphere, combined with the knowledgeable as well a huggable staff make this place a rugged gem for you...

Bar with more than 300 different kinds of beers in the fridge already deserves five stars in my opinion :).
