So glad this place stays open during covid. Market days are tuesdays, fridays and saturdays (outside of these days there may just be the odd food truck). Although it depends on the stall, on average the quality of the food is very good, excellent in some cases ('Zwerwer's Wereldgroenten' deserves special mention). On saturdays go early if possible, both to avoid crowds and get the best possible produce.

Best place to buy your weekly groceries in Groningen. Super nice and fresh. We buy our breads, fruits, vegetables, flowers, fish snacks, cheese, eggs and other things I cannot remember from this market. Always check the maket availability time cause its just 3 days a week.
